Stationary Comfort comes from a study of what comfort means in terms of 'touch'. Modeling and crafting the forms that the hand creates by holding and squeezing, I created interactive pieces that are meant to be carried along regularly, as a token of comfort and play.
THE CASE STUDY FOR STATIONARY RELIEF WAS CONDUCTED OVER 3 MONTHS WITH A POOL OF 10 PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE ALL COLLEGE-LEVEL STUDENTS DIAGNOSED WITH ANXIETY DISORDER.
